Duke of Edinburgh Award

Achieved through completing a volunteering, a skill, a physical activity and an expedition section.

The Duke of Edinburgh award allows cadets to develop important skills such as teamwork, leadership, confidence, map-reading and organisational skills, which can be applied to other cadet activities and everyday lives.

There are three different levels to the Duke of Edinburgh – Bronze, Silver and Gold and all of these levels can be done through the air cadets.
